1. Clogged spray arms
The holes in the rotating spray arms get blocked with food debris and limescale, so water no longer reaches all the dishes. Remove the arms and clear the holes with a toothpick and warm water.
2. A dirty filter
The filter at the base of the machine needs cleaning regularly. A clogged filter reduces water pressure and redeposits dirt back onto the dishes.
3. Salt and rinse aid run out
Without dishwasher salt you get limescale, and without rinse aid you get spots and streaks. Check the levels and top them up when needed.
4. Loading the machine wrong
Stacked or touching dishes block the water jet. Leave space between items and don't cover the spray arms with large trays.
5. Faults that need a technician
If maintenance doesn't help, the cause may be the circulation pump, a heating element that no longer warms the water, or the temperature sensor.
In that case, the WellDone Service technicians run the diagnosis at your home and repair it with a warranty.
